A government delegation from Davao Occidental, Philippines, made a special visit to Jiangsu Haizhongzhou Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. for an in-depth inspection and exchange. This visit was prompted by the successful construction and delivery of the deck barge "Princess Nina I" by our shipyard in 2023. Since its deployment, the vessel has demonstrated exceptional stability, robust loading capacity, and outstanding fuel efficiency, earning high praise from the shipowner for its reliable performance and quality in the complex maritime environment of Davao Occidental. Building on this recognition and trust, the provincial government decided to visit again to explore further collaboration and discuss opportunities for deeper and broader cooperation.
Accompanied by Mr. Deng Cihuo, Deputy General Manager of our shipyard, the delegation first toured the modern shipbuilding workshops and bustling dock areas. Mr. Deng provided a detailed introduction to the shipyard's comprehensive capabilities and innovative achievements in ship design, construction techniques, quality control, and the application of the latest environmental technologies.
The delegation then inspected a deck barge of the same type nearing completion. As another exemplary product of the shipyard's technological advancements, the new vessel garnered significant interest from the delegation. Deputy General Manager Deng Cihuo gave a thorough and engaging explanation of the ship's structural optimizations, equipment selection, and intelligent upgrades. Pointing to key sections of the hull, he remarked, "Building on the success of 'Princess Nina I,' we have further optimized the hull design and structural strength in this new vessel, significantly enhancing its fuel efficiency and resistance to wind and waves to better suit the operational needs of your region." The delegation members nodded in agreement and engaged in in-depth discussions with our team on technical details, construction timelines, and after-sales services, fostering a warm and productive atmosphere.
Through this on-site inspection and face-to-face exchange, the delegation gained a more direct and comprehensive understanding of the shipyard's robust construction capabilities, rigorous management systems, and continuous technological innovation.
