Recently, the 'Qiankun Qihang,' built by Jiangsu Haizhongzhou Shipbuilding Co., Ltd for an internationally renowned shipping company, was successfully launched at Berth No. 3. Witnessed by representatives from all parties, the vessel smoothly slid into the water, marking a seamless and successful launch process.
The 'Qiankun Qihang' has an overall length of 154.6 meters, a breadth of 27.3 meters, and a depth of 14.3 meters. Its elegant hull lines and rational structural design complement each other perfectly. The vessel features a steel hull and a hybrid framing system, ensuring structural strength while optimizing cargo capacity. With a full load draft of 9.65 meters, its reference deadweight capacity reaches 23,365 tons, fully meeting the client's dual requirements for economy and practicality.
The vessel was completed in under nine months, two weeks ahead of the original schedule, demonstrating the shipyard's exceptional construction efficiency. Advanced modular construction techniques and a digital management system were employed during the building process, ensuring seamless coordination between phases and controlled quality.
Following the launch, the vessel immediately entered the outfitting phase and is expected to be delivered and operational in the fourth quarter of this year. Currently, the shipyard maintains a solid order book, with production scheduled through the end of 2026.
